Human Rights Reporters Committee – Children’s rights activist Maryam Zia has been sentenced to one year in prison by branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court. Her charge is “propaganda against the regime”. The court was headed by judge Moghiseh.

According to informed sources, the judge did not behave impartially, but rather acted similarly to interrogators of the Ministry of Intelligence. Maryam Zia’s sentence was issued based on Article 500 of the Islamic Penal Code. Maryam Zia’s lawyers are Mrs. Mohammadi and Mr. Meshkani.

Maryam Zia was arrested on December 31, 2009 and spent three months in Evin prison. She was held in ward 209 of Evin prison for two months. The ward is run by the Ministry of Intelligence.

The Committee of Human Rights Reporters previously reported that Maryam Zia was released from prison [on March 28, 2010] after 13 days of hunger strike. She was released on $30,000 (USD) bail upon recommendations by physicians.

At the start of the Persian calendar New Year (March 21, 2010), Maryam Zia’s parents provided the bail amount but the judge still refused to release her.

Maryam Zia is the director for the Society for a World Children Deserve. She was initially arrested on June 12, 2006 in a protest gathering against unjust laws. The protest was held at Haft-e Tir Square in Tehran and it was headed by women’s rights activists.

مریم ضیا، به یک سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد

کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر- مریم ضیا، فعال حقوق کودک، از سوی شعبه 28 دادگاه انقلاب به ریاست قاضی مقیسه به اتهام تبلیغ علیه نظام، به یک سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد.

به گفته منابع آگاه، قاضي در جلسه دادگاه، نه تنها بی طرف نبوده بلکه در طول دادرسی، رفتاری همانند بازجویان وزارت اطلاعات داشته و با استناد به ماده 500 قانون مجازات اسلامي وی را به يک سال حبس تعزیری محکوم کرد.

وی در تاریخ 10 دی ماه 1388 بازداشت شده و مدت 3 ماه را در زندان اوین به سر برد. این در حالی است که نزدیک به 2 ماه در بند 209 همان زندان، که مربوط به وزارت اطلاعات است نگهداری می شد.

کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر، پیش از این گزارش داده بود که “خانم ضیا پس از 13 روز اعتصاب غذا، به دلیل اظهار نظر پزشکان، مبنی بر به صلاح‌نبودن ادامه بازداشت ضیا به دلیل وخامت وضعیت جسمانی، با قرار وثیقه 30 میلیون تومانی از زندان اوین آزاد شد.”

گفتنی است پیش از آغاز سال جدید، خانواده این فعال اجتماعی وثیقه ۳۰ میلیون تومانی تعیین شده برای وی را تودیع کرده، اما قاضی پرونده از آزادی وی ممانعت به عمل آورده بود.

مریم ضیا مدیر جعیت تلاش برای جهانی شایسته کودکان، صبح روز ۱۰ دی ماه توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شد. وی پیش از این نیز در ۲۲ خردادماه سال ۱۳۸۵ در تجمعی که به قصد اعتراض به «قوانین نابرابر» از سوی فعالان زن در میدان هفت تیر برگزار شد، بازداشت شده بود.

لازم به ذکر است که وکالت این فعال اجتماعی را خانم محمدی و آقای مشکانی بر عهده داشتند.

According to RAHANA, the mother and brother of Kianoush Asa, a university student who died in last year’s post-election protests, were detained by security forces and released after seven hours of interrogation.

The mother Fatemeh Fallah and the brother Kamran Asa were detained by security forces on Tuesday as they were on their way to visit opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi and his wife Zahra Rahnavard. Fatemeh Fallah and Kamran Asa were interrogated for seven hours before they were released.

Pressures by security forces on the Asa family continues while government authorities have yet to provide answers to the family’s inquiries on Kianoush Asa’s death. In the last year, Kamran Asa was arrested twice and spent a total of two months in Evin prison.

مادر و برادر کیانوش آسا، از جان‌باخته‌گان حوادث پس از انتخابات روز گذشته به مدت ۷ ساعت بازداشت و مورد بازجویی نیروهای امنیتی قرار گرفتند و سپس آزاد شدند.

مادر و دیگر اعضای خانواده مرحوم کیانوش آسا، از جانباخته‌گان حوادث پس از انتخابات در روز ۲۵ خرداد سال گذشته، روز پیش (سه‌شنبه) در حالی‌که قصد ملاقات با میرحسین موسوی و همسرش را داشتند، توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و به مدت ۷ ساعت به صورت مداوم تحت بازجویی قرار گرفته و سپس آزاد شدند.

بنا به گزارش‌ ارسالی به رهانا، در حالی که تا کنون هیچ نهادی پاسخگوی پی‌گیری‌های خانواده آسا در مورد مرگ فرزندشان نبوده است، هم‌چنان فشار نیروهای امنیتی بر خانواده‌ی وی ادامه دارد، به طوری که کامران برادر کیانوش، تاکنون ۲ بار بازداشت شده و سال گذشته ۲ ماه را در زندان اوین بازداشت بوده است.

HRANA – Azad Kamangar, a technical and engineering student at Yazdanpanah college in Sanandaj (Kurdistan province of Iran), was detained [on September 3rd] while on his way to school. He was transferred to an undisclosed location.

Family members of the student activist have gone to the Ministry of Intelligence and the Revolutionary Court for answers, but they have not been able to obtain any information on him.

According to HRANA reporters, earlier, in June, Azad Kamangar, who is the nephew of the executed teacher Farzad Kamangar, was under indictment by security forces following a memorial ceremony held for the May 9th executions. Authorities failed to detain him since he was not home at the time.

It is worth noting that following the memorial ceremony, a total of six university students were arrested by security forces. The house of Farzad Kamangar’s sister was also raided in an attempt to arrest her son Azad. The personal belongings of the student activist were confiscated in the raid.

خبرگزاری هرانا – آزاد کمانگر دانشجوی دانشکده فنی و مهندسی یزدان پناه سنندج دو روز پیش در پی مراجعه به دانشگاه بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد.

بنا به اطلاع گزارشگران هرانا، آزاد کمانگر که خواهر زاده فرزاد کمانگر معلم اعدامی است پیشتر در پی برگزاری مراسم یادبودی برای اعدام شدگان 19 اردی بهشت در خرداد ماه سالجاری تحت تعقیب نیروهای امنیتی قرار گرفته بود که به دلیل عدم حضور وی در منزل، تلاش برای بازداشت وی ناموفق بوده است.

خانواده این فعال دانشجویی در مراجعه به اداره اطلاعات سنندج و دادگاه انقلاب موفق به کسب خبر از وی نشدند.

گفتنی است پیشتر در پی برگزاری این مراسم شش تن از دانشجویان این دانشگاه توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شدند و منزل خواهر فرزاد کمانگر جهت بازداشت فرزندش نیز یورش شده و کلیه لوازم شخصی وی ضبط شد.

According to Renesans news, Aziz Naseri, a well-known Kurdish poet, writer, and translator from the city of Merivan has been arrested.

Aziz Naseri was arrested at the Department of Education on September 9th by regime security forces. He was transferred to an unknown location.

According to this same news source, the reasons for his arrest are not clear yet, however, social activists are stressing that his imprisonment is one of many recent arrests of literary and cultural activists in Kurdistan.

In the last month, Mokhtar Houshmand, Behzad Kurdestani, and other Kurdish social and literary activists have been detained by regime security forces.

Aziz Naseri has completed several literary works. For example, he translated the work of great Kurdish poet Hemin and Darbande Parvaneh (Sherko bekas) to Persian.

به گفته‌ی منبع خبری از شهر مریوان غزیز ناصری، روز سه شنبه7/9/2010 توسط نیروهای امنیتی رژیم جمهوری اسلامی ایران در اداره آموزش و پرورش آن شهر دستگیر و به مکانی نامعلوم منتقل گشته است. بنا به‌ گفته‌ی همان منبع خبری، هنوز دلیل دستگیری نامبرده‌ مشخص نیست اما فعالان اجتماعی تاکید می کنند که دستگیر شدن عزیز ناصری ادامه‌ی فرایند دستگیری و احضار فعالان ادبی و هنری و فرهنگی کردستان می باشد.

شایان ذکر است که‌ در طی ماه گذشته مختار هوشمند و بهزاد کردستانی فعالان احتماعی و هنری کردستان ایران توسط نیروهای امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی دستگیر شده‌اند.

عزیز ناسری صاحب چندین آثار ادبی است که‌ می توان به‌ ترجمه‌ی مجموعه شعر شاعر بزرگ کرد ( هیمن) و ترجمه‌ی دربند پروانه (شیرکوبیکس) به زمان فارسی اشاره‌ کرد.

Mansour Osanloo is the chairman and founding member of the Tehran and Suburbs Vahed Bus Workers Syndicate. About three years ago he was accused of acting against national security and spreading propaganda against the Iranian regime. He has been condemned to five years in prison. Last month, one more year was added to his previous sentence while he remains in prison.

Masour Osanloo who is well known among international union workers, suffers from several severe health conditions in prison. Fatemeh Golgazi, the mother of Mansour Osanloo, speaks with Radio Farda and talks about her son’s condition.

Fatemeh Golgazi: I was able to see him about 15 days ago when I heard one more year was added to his previous five-year sentence. I take anti-depressant pills to [deal with] my distress.

Radio Farda: What was Mr. Osanloo’s condition in your last visit with him?

Fatemeh Golgazi: Well, because of Ramadan and the fact that everyone is fasting, he was a little tired and was not his usual self. I asked him why they had added one more year to his sentence. He answered, “Mother, you know I am innocent.”

Radio Farda: What was the reason that Mr. Osanloo’s attorney was unable to take a look at his file and be present at the court?

Fatemeh Golgazi: At first the attorney was not allowed to have any visits with him. Then after his insistence he was able to visit my son. We requested to see my son’s file but they denied this request. We were never able to be present in court or get any information about the case. They do whatever they want in prison without consulting other authorities.

Radio Farda: Is Mr. Osanloo in Rajai prison’s general ward?

Fatemeh Golgazi: He is with political prisoners arrested before and after the election. I can go and visit him every 15 days, but the [distance] is too far and I am an old woman. I get tired so I visit my son once a month or sometimes every two months.

Radio Farda: Do you call him or does he call you from prison?

Fatemeh Golgazi: Unfortunately I have not had any calls from him in the past fiver or six days. I have not heard his voice to see how he is doing. But because I am aware of his health condition and the fact that it is Ramadan, I know he is suffering. I know it [because]  I am a mother…

Radio Farda: Mrs. Golgazi,  the fact that a medical commission voted in favor of your son’s release from prison because of his severe health problems, do you believe his release will happen soon?

Fatemeh Golgazi: Well, instead of releasing him, they gave him an additional year in prison, adding to his previous five years. My son is innocent. They are wasting his life…

Radio Farda: What is your message to authorities?

Fatemeh Golgazi: I am asking them to release my son as soon as possible. He is innocent.  He is wasting his life in prison. They need to reconsider his case and see why this is happening to him. I have sent letters to different authorities. They do not respond to any of them. They do not pay any attention to his case, but I will not give up. I will do everything I can as long as I live. We will see what happens. They do not listen to me. I just want to see my son freed as soon as possible. He has lost weight, his hair is graying, and his health is deteriorating.

I am a mother, I feel it. My son is not doing well mentally and physically. I am asking authorities to do something to free him from prison.

مادر منصور اسانلو: مسئولان هر چه زودتر پسرم را آزاد کنند

منصور اسانلو رئیس هیات مدیره سندیکای کارگران شرکت واحد اتوبوسرانی تهران و حومه که حدود سه سال پیش به اتهام اقدام علیه امنیت داخلی و تبلیغ علیه نظام به پنج سال حبس محکوم شده بود، چند هفته پیش، یکسال دیگر به دوره حبسش اضافه شد و همچنان در زندان است.

منصور اسانلو که در میان اتحادیه های بین المللی کارگری شخصیتی شناخته شده است، در زندان دچار ناراحتی‌های حاد مختلفی است. «فاطمه گُلگَزی» مادر منصور اسانلو در گفت وگو با رادیو فردا، از وضعیت فرزندش و ملاقات اخیر خود با وی می گوید.

فاطمه گُلگَزی:‌پانزده روز پیش توانستم به ملاقاتش بروم، آن هم در حالی که بدون دلیل یک سال حکم زندان او را افزایش داده اند. من هم از غصه قرص اعصاب خورده بودم.

وضعیت آقای اسانلو در آخرین ملاقاتی که با ایشان داشتید چگونه بود؟

خوب از آن جایی که ماه رمضان بود و مثل این که همه روزه هستند، کمی  کسل بود و مثل همیشه نبود. گفتم: مادر، برای چی به شما دوباره یک سال زندانی دادند، گفت که مادر خودت میدانی دیگر، بی گناه،  به من دوباره یکسال زندانی دادند.

به چه دلیل وکیل آقای اسانلو امکان نیافتند که پرونده را ببینند و در دادگاه حضور پیدا کنند؟

وقتی رفته بودند، اول اینکه راهشان نمی دهند، به سختی راه می دهند. (منصور) اسانلو گفت که فقط آمدند من را دیدند. بعد می گویند که ما می رویم حالا که پرونده را ببینیم. هر کاری می کنند را هم نشان نمی دهند. لابد حالا پرونده ای باید وجود داشته باشد که نشان بدهند. گفته بودند  شما حق دیدن پرونده را ندارید. اصلا هیچ موقع ما دادگاهی ندیدیم. هیچ موقع هیچ اطلاعی به ما نمی دهند. خودسرانه این کار را می کنند. مثل اینکه خود زندانبان ها این دفعه این کار را کردند، یعنی خودشان بریدند و خودشان هم دوختند برای پسر من.

آقای اسانلو اکنون در زندان رجایی شهر در بند عمومی هستند؟

پیش سیاسی های قبل از انتخابات و بعد از انتخابات است. ما پانزده روز یک بار می توانیم برویم که خیلی راه دور است. مثلا چون یک مادرم و خیلی خسته می شوم، ماهی یک بار یا دو ماهی یک بار می روم.

تماس تلفنی دارید با آقای اسانلو، یا ایشان تماس تلفنی با منزل و با شما دارند؟

متاسفانه الان پنج، شش روز هست که به من زنگ نزدند. صدایشان را نشنیدم که بدانم حالشان چطور است. منتهی می دانم که به خاطر این قلب و کمر و دیسک و این ها، ایشان چون ماه رمضان هم هست، خب خیلی زجر می کشند، این را من می دانم واقعا، چون یک مادرم.

خانم گلگزی، با توجه به این که پیشتر یک کمیسیون پزشکی به دلیل وضعیت جسمانی و ناراحتی های حاد آقای اسانلو طی گزارشی رای به آزادی ایشان داده بود، آیا تصور می کنید این امر محقق شود؟

متاسفانه عوض اینکه ایشان را آزاد کنند، پسر من گفت اتفاقا یک سال هم زندانی به من اضافه کردند و من دارم اینجا بیگناه یک سال زندانی می کشم. یعنی یک سال از عمر بچه من باز دوباره بیهوده از بین دارد می رود.

شما به عنوان مادر آقای اسانلو، رییس هیات مدیره سندیکای شرکت اتوبوسرانی تهران و حومه چه خواسته ای از مسئولان و چه پیامی برای آنها دارید؟

من اتفاقا از مسئولان می خواهم که هر چه زودتر بچه من را آزاد کنند. بچه من بیگناه آنجا افتاده، آخر پنج سال از  عمرش بیهوده از بین رفت، الان یکسال هم اضافه کرده اند.

یک بررسی بکنند و ببینند آخر برای چه؟ بعد هم جواب این نامه های من را یک بار این ها نداده اند. تمام دادگاه ها، به تمام سران (نظام) من نامه نوشته ام، شاید اصلا پاره کرده باشند ریخته باشند دور، بگویند مثلا اصلا اینها پیگیر نیستند. یعنی تمام مدت، آن چه که پنج سال، ما پیگیر این بچه بودیم و هستیم و تا جان در بدنم هست هستم، که ببینم آخر می خواهند چکار کنند.

اصلا گوش نمی دهند به حرف من، فقط میخواهم هر چه زودتر ایشان را آزاد کنند، هر چه زودتر برای این که ایشان بالاخره خسته شده اند، بالاخره موهای سرشان سفید شده، لاغر شده اند، قلبشان است، ریه هایش است. من یک مادرم. می فهمم. (منصور اسانلو) خیلی گرفته است. از نظر روحی خوب است البته اما بالاخره در زندان است، جسمش ناراحت می شود. من هر چه زودتر از مسئولان می خواهم یک فکری برای آقای اسانلو کنند و هر چه زودتر آزاداش کنند.

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner

French Foreign Minister Stands Up for Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani

Once again, France’s foreign minister Bernard Kouchner spoke out in defense of  Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani. According to Radio Farda, he stated, “If necessary I will go to Tehran to save Sakineh.” Kouchner described stoning as a punishment method that dates back to the Medieval era.

Currently Ashtiani’s son Sajjad is worried that by the end of Ramadan (September 9th) his mother’s execution will take place. In a press conference in presence of philosopher Bernard Henry Levy and Sakineh’s former lawyer Mohammad Mostafaei, Kouchner stated that he is ready to travel to Tehran for Sakineh’s release. Kouchner raised his opinion about stoning and stated,  ”This is an unacceptable method of punishment, a savage act, and a return to the Medieval era.”

The French foreign minister explained that he is taking Ashtiani’s case personally. He added, “I will make a trip to Tehran if it is necessary.” In response to the question of if he had discussed the matter with his Iranian counterpart, he stated, “No.” Kouchner claimed that in defense of Ashtiani, Bernard Henry Levy published a petition that received over one hundred thousand signatures. Bernard Kouchhner also anticipated that the European Union would reach common grounds and take action on the matter.

In the same press conference, Bernard Henry Levy spoke to Ashtiani’s son over the phone. In this conversation, Sajjad stated his worries about his mother’s execution that may take place after the month of Ramadan. Sajjad explained that his visits to his mother are no longer allowed and he has no knowledge of her current situation.

Don’t Be Fooled, Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani Is NOT Safe!

September 8, 2010: Today, news came that Sakineh Ashtiani’s stoning sentence has been suspended. This prompted some activists to believe that she is safe. This, however, is NOT the case. Sakineh is by no means safe. As a matter of fact, she is in more grave danger than before. To clarify, her sentence has indeed been suspended – pending a review. Some have begun to assert that they are reviewing her stoning sentence. This is NOT true.

The review is not of the stoning sentence or charges of adultery against her. Both of those stand and are NOT being questioned by the government.

The government is reviewing the files that back up the government’s claim that she murdered her husband. This has absolutely nothing to do with the stoning sentence, which will be carried out because the government in its mind has proven that she committed adultery. The sentence is simply not going to be carried out until the government figures out the discrepancy in the files that support charges of murder against her. As confirmed by her son, these murder files have been “lost.”

However, in the meantime, the government is worried about all the media attention about the stoning sentence. It simply wants the world to think that it has succumbed to all the media attention and our outcry. This is a ploy by the Islamic Republic of Iran to quiet down the opposition to her stoning. Once they have accomplished that, they will conveniently stone her to death.

MEPs condemn stoning sentence on Iranian Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani

The death sentence on Iranian Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani was strongly condemned in a resolution adopted on Wednesday with the support of all the European Parliament’s political groups. MEPs say that, regardless of the facts, a sentence of death by stoning can never be justified or accepted. They urge the Iranian authorities to set aside the sentences imposed on Mrs Mohammadi-Ashtiani and review her case.

Parliament also urges the Iranian Government to reconsider the case of Zahra Bahrami, an Iranian-Dutch national, and immediately grant her access to a lawyer and consular assistance or release her or grant her due process. MEPs also want a stay of execution for the 18-year old Ebrahim Hamidi.

Vatican: Stoning In Iran Adultery Case ‘Brutal,’ May Try To Save Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani’s Life

VATICAN CITY — The Vatican raised the possibility Sunday of using behind-the-scenes diplomacy to try to save the life of an Iranian widow sentenced to be stoned for adultery.

In its first public statement on the case, which has attracted worldwide attention, the Vatican decried stoning as a particularly brutal form of capital punishment.

Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi said the Catholic church opposes the death penalty in general.

It is unclear what chances any Vatican bid would have to persuade the Muslim nation to spare the woman’s life. Brazil, which has friendly relations with Iran, was rebuffed when it offered her asylum.

Iranian Newspaper Says Carla Bruni-Sarkozy ‘Deserves to Die’ for Objecting to Stoning

An Iranian newspaper with close ties to the country’s supreme leader has responded to a campaign by French celebrities to save the life of an Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning by calling its most prominent member, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, a “prostitute” who “deserves to die.”

Kayhan, the Tehran daily, first denounced the French president’s wife on Saturday, after she published an open letter in support of Sakineh Ashtiani, the Iranian woman given a death sentence for the crime of adultery. The official position of the paper’s editor is representative of the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The fact that Kayhan called Ms. Bruni-Sarkozy, and the French actress Isabelle Adjani, the author of a previous open letter, “prostitutes” on Saturday led Iran’s foreign ministry to distance the government from the remarks. Ramin Mehmanparast, a foreign ministry spokesman, told reporters in Tehran on Tuesday, that “insulting the officials of other countries and using inappropriate words, this is not approved of by the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

On Tuesday Kayhan responded to criticism of its first attack by going even further in a second volley against Ms. Bruni-Sarkozy, calling her “the singer and decadent actress who managed to break [up] the Sarkozy family.” The newspaper added:

“Studying Carla Bruni’s record clearly shows the reason why this immoral woman is backing an Iranian woman who has been condemned to death for committing adultery and being an accomplice in her husband’s murder and, in fact, she herself deserves to die.”

وزیر امور خارجۀ فرانسه، برنار کوشنر بار دیگر به دفاع از سکینه محمدی آشتیانی برخاست و گفت اگر لازم باشد برای نجات او به تهران هم خواهد رفت. اقای کوشنر مجازات سنگسار را اوج توحش و بازگشت به قرون وسطی توصیف کرد. از سوی دیگر پسر خانم آشتیانی نگران است که با پایان ماه رمضان، حکم اعدام مادرش به اجرا درآید.

در یک کنفرانس مطبوعاتی با حضور فیلسوف فرانسوی برنار هانری لوی و همچنین محمد مصطفایی، وکیل پیشین سکینه آشتیانی، وزیر امور خارجۀ فرانسه، برنار کوشنر گفت حاضر است برای آزادی سکینه محمدی آشتیانی به تهران برود. کوشنر با اشاره به مجازات سنگسار گفت: “این یک محکومیت و یک عمل غیرقابل قبول، اوج توحش، و بازگشت به قرون وسطی است”. وزیر خارجۀ فرانسه توضیح داد که پروندۀ خانم آشتیانی برای او یک “مسئلۀ شخصی” شده و سپس افزود: “اگر لازم باشد، به تهران هم خواهم رفت”.

در پاسخ به این پرسش که آیا وی در این مورد با همتای ایرانی خود صحبت کرده یا خیر، کوشنر پاسخ داد: “در این مورد بخصوص، خیر”.

کوشنر ادعا کرد که بیانیه ای که به ابتکار برنار هانری لوی، در دفاع از خانم آشتیانی منتشر شده، در حال حاضر بیش از صدهزار امضا جمع کرده است. او همچنین ابراز امیدواری کرد که همۀ کشورهای اتحادیۀ اروپا تا پایان هفته در مورد این پرونده به موضعی مشترک برسند.

در همین کنفرانس مطبوعاتی، برنار هانری لوی با پسر سکینه آشتیانی یک گفتگوی تلفنی داشت. به این مناسبت پسر خانم آشتیانی ابراز نگرانی کرد که حکم اعدام مادرش بعد از ماه رمضان به اجرا درآید. سجاد محمدی آشتیانی در این گفتگوی تلفنی توضیح داد که ملاقات های هفتگی با مادرش لغو شده و مدتی است که خبر مستقیمی از وی ندارد

واتیکان حکم سنگسار سکینه محمدی آشتیانی را محکوم و اعلام کرد، از راه‌های دپیلماتیک تلاش خواهد کرد از اجرای این حکم جلوگیری کند. یکی از فرزندان سکینه آشتیانی اخیرا برای نجات جان مادرش از پاپ کمک خواسته بود.

یک سخنگوی دربار واتیکان روز یکشنبه (۵ سپتامبر) حکم اعدام سکینه محمدی آشتیانی از طریق سنگسار را بشدت محکوم کرد و گفت، سنگسار شکل وحشیانه‌ی اجرای مجازات اعدام است. سخنگوی واتیکان در عین‌حال تاکید کرد که واتیکان اساسا با مجازات اعدام مخالف است.

سجاد قادرزاده، فرزند سکینه‌ آشتیانی، زن محکوم به سنگسار روز گذشته (۴ سپتامبر/۱۳ شهریور) از پاپ بندیکت شانزدهم برای نجات جان مادرش کمک خواسته بود. فرزند سکینه‌ آشتیانی که با آژانس خبری ایتالیایی آکی (AKI) گفت‌وگو می‌کرد، هم از رهبر کاتولیک‌های جهان و هم از دولت ایتالیا برای نجات جان مادرش کمک خواست.

سجاد قادرزاده در این گفت‌وگو حمایت‌های بین‌المللی از مادرش را «بسیار موثر» دانست و افزود: «از جناب پاپ درخواست می‌کنم که برای نجات جان مادرم هر کاری از دستشان بر می‌آید دریغ نکند».

فرزند سکینه محمدی درباره‌ی دلیل تقاضای کمکش از مجامع بین‌المللی به خبرگزاری «آکی» گفت: «پیش از آنکه برای نجات جان مادرم از خارج تقاضای کمک بکنم، به مقامات بلندپایه جمهوری اسلامی چون آیت‌الله علی خامنه‌ای و محمود احمدی‌نژاد نامه نوشتم و از آنها در خواست کمک کردم. متاسفانه هیچ پاسخی را دریافت نکردم و بنابراین مجبور شدم برای کمک به مادرم به مجامع بین‌المللی روی بیاورم».

سجاد قادرزاده چند روز پیش نیز در گفت‌وگو با مجله آلمانی «اشترن»، اعتراض‌های بین‌المللی علیه حکم سنگسار مادرش را خیلی مهم توصیف کرده و گفته بود: «این اعتراض‌ها تا به‌حال حد‌اقل این تاثیر مثبت را داشته‌اند که مادرم هنوز زنده است.»

به گزارش رادیو واتیکان، فدریکو لومباردی، سخنگوی واتیکان گفت، واتیکان موضوع حکم سنگسار سکینه آشتیانی را دنبال می‌کند و از راه‌های دیپلماتیک تلاش خواهد کرد جلوی اجرای این حکم را بگیرد.

پیش از این دولت‌های برزیل و فرانسه نیز برای جلوگیری از اجرای حکم سنگسار خانم سیکنه آشتیانی تلاش کرده‌اند. این فشارها موجب شده که اجرای حکم سنگسار این زن ۴۳ ساله فعلا متوقف شود، اما حکم اعدام وی پابرجاست و هر آن ممکن است این زن به‌طریقی اعدام شود. دولت برزیل رسما اعلام آمادگی کرده که سکینه آشتیانی را به عنوان پناهنده در خاک خود بپذیرد. ایران اما به همه‌ی این درخواست‌ها پاسخ منفی داده است.

سکینه محمدی آشتیانی از سال ۱۳۸۴ به اتهام «زنای محصنه» و «مشارکت در قتل همسرش»، در زندان تبریز به‌سر می‌برد. او در سال ۸۵ از مجازات مشارکت در قتل همسرش به دلیل فقدان مدارک و نبود شاکی خصوصی نجات یافت. اما یک شعبه‌ی دیگر دادگاه کیفری استان آذربایجان شرقی او را به اتهام «رابطه جنسی خارج از ازدواج» به ۹۹ ضربه شلاق و اعدام از طریق سنگسار محکوم کرد. دیوان عالی کشور این حکم را تأیید کرده است.

حکم سنگسار سکینه محمدی آشتیانی با واکنش گسترده در سطح جهان روبرو شد و علاوه‌ بر نهادهای بین‌المللی حقوق بشر، بسیاری از دولت‌های غربی نیز با «وحشیانه» و «قرون وسطایی» خواندن آن، خواهان توقف اجرای حکم شده‌اند.

Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) - On the morning of September 7, 2010, a teenage Sunni boy was killed instantly after being shot in the head by police. The teenager was a resident of Qeshm Island.

According to HRANA reporters, Sadeq Doolabi, a resident of Doolab village of Qeshm, was on his way to the sea to go fishing when he was arrested by the police. He was then shot in the head in front of several local witnesses and died instantly.

The boy, a student in ninth grade, had to work to provide for his family and went to the sea for fishing on daily basis. He was arrested by the Police Naval Patrol and taken to the beach. Upon witnessing the arrest, several residents approached the police to inquire about the situation and save the life of the teenager. However, they were faced with shootings by the police and thus had to turn back. After beating Sadeq Doolabi, the agents shot him in the head and he died instantly.

Two agents fled the scene after witnesses expressed anger to the [murder].  The people caught one of the agents and beat him up. They then turned him over to the Intelligence Office of Qeshm, along with the body of the slain teenager.

Doolabi’s father has been suffering from an illness for years, and Sadeq was the only breadwinner of the family. Each year, a large number of youth in this region are killed as a result of mistreatment by police.

Qeshm Island is located in southern Iran. Most of the people in this region are fishers. They have been experiencing drought for the past ten years, resulting in terrible living conditions for the residents of Qeshm Island. Poverty has ravaged more than 80 villages on the island.

خبرگزاری هرانا – صبح امروز سه شنبه شانزدهم شهریورماه یک نوجوان اهل سنت و ساکن جزیره قشم به ضرب گلوله از ناحیه سر در دم کشته شد.

بنا به اطلاع گزارشگران هرانا، صادق دولابی زاده اهل روستای دولاب از توابع قشم که صبح امروز به قصد ماهی گیری به دریا رفته بود توسط ماموران نیروی انتظامی دستگیر و کنار ساحل در مقابل دیدگان اهالی از ناحیه سر هدف قرار گرفت و در دم جان باخت.

این نوجوان که در مقطع اول دبیرستان درس می خواند برای گذران زندگی خانواده اش مجبور به کار بوده و روزانه به منظور ماهی گیری به سمت دربا عظیمت می کرد که امروز توسط گشت دریایی نیروی انتظامی دستگیر و به ساحل هدایت می شود.

پس از مشاهده ی این صحنه تنی چند از اهالی منطقه برای آگاهی بیشتر از ماجرا و نجات جان این نوجوان نزدیک ایشان می شوند که اما با تیر اندازی سه تن از ماموران نیروی انتظامی رویرو می شوند. این ماموران پس از ضرب و شتم صادق دولابی زاده با شلیک گلوله به سر، وی را از پای درمی آوردند.

دو تن از ماموران با مشاهده ی این صحنه و خشم مردم حاضر در صحنه از آن منطقه گریخته و یکی از آن ها به دست مردم گرفتار می شود و پس از ضرب و شتم توسط مردم همراه با جسد نوجوان به اداره اطلاعات قشم تحویل داده می شود.

پدر خانواده ی دولابی زاده سال هاست که از بیماری رنج می برد و تنها نان آور خانه همین نوجوان بوده است.

لازم به ذکر است سالانه تعداد زیادی از جوانان این منطقه به دلیل برخورد بد نیروی انتظامی کشته می شوند.

جزیره قشم در جنوب ایران قرار دارد و شغل اکثر مردم این منظقه صیادی است. بیش از ده سال است که مردم این منطقه با خشک سالی مواجه اند و در وضعیت نامساعدی از لحاظ معیشت به سر می برند. فقر و تنگ دستی در بیش از هشتاد روستای این جزیره مردم را در بدترین شرایط زندگی قرار داده است.

Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA)- Gholamreza Bayyat, a young man from Kamyaran (Iran Kurdistan) who was arrested by the Kamyaran police on charges of possession of alcohol, died in detention as a result of physical torture.

Based on the information received by HRANA reporters, Bayyat was wanted by the police for possession of alcoholic drinks. After he gave himself up to the police, he was subjected to mistreatment and physical torture which resulted in internal bleeding, and finally last Sunday he went into coma.

The Kurdish citizen died after being transferred to the hospital. The coroner cited internal bleeding from severe beatings as the cause of death.

The memorial service for Gholamreza Bayyat will be held on September 7th in Imam Hossein mosque in Kamyaran.

هرانا؛ مرگ یک جوان بر اثر شکنجه در اداره آگاهی کامیاران

خبرگزاری هرانا – یک جوان کامیارانی که به اتهام نگهداری مشروبات الکلی توسط اداره آگاهی کامیاران بازداشت شده بود به دلیل شکنجه های جسمی در بازداشتگاه جان باخت.

بنا به اطلاع گزارشگران هرانا، غلامرضا بیات از شهروندان کرد اهل کامیاران که به اتهام نگهداری مشروبات الکلی از سوی اداره آگاهی تحت تعقیب قرار داشت پس معرفی خود به پلیس در اثر بدرفتاری و شکنجه های جسمی دچار خونریزی داخلی شده و روز یکشنبه هفته گذشته به کما رفت.

این شهروند کرد پس از انتقال به بیمارستان جانباخته و پزشکی قانونی علت مرگ وی را خونریزی داخلی به سبب ضرب و شتم شدید اعلام کرده است.

لازم به ذکر است، مراسم ترحیم این جوان کرد روز سه شنبه مورخ 6 شهریورماه در مسجد امام حسین شهرستان کامیاران برگزار شده است.

According to reports by HRANA, Mohsen Beikvand who had been repeatedly tortured by prison guards was murdered in ward 6 of hall 16 in Rajai Shahr prison on August 31st.

In mid-June 2010, Mohsen Beikvand was transferred  to a solitary cell  in Rajai Shahr prison.

Reportedly, prisoners confined in Rajai Shahr prison believe prison authorities directly issued an order [to other prisoners] to murder Beikvand. The murder of prisoners by other prisoners [is commonly] organized and directed by prison authorities.

In June 2010, HRANA released a report that included a video clip revealing the torture of  Beikvand while in prison. According to documents, both of Beikvand’s legs were broken and his arms endured extensive trauma. His body was also burned while under torture.

هرانا؛ محسن بیک وند از قربانیان شکنجه در زندان به قتل رسید

خبرگزاری هرانا – محسن بیک وند، یکی از زندانیان عادی محبوس در زندان رجایی شهر کرج، سه شنبه شب، مورخ نهم شهریورماه، در زندان به قتل رسید.

بنا به اطلاع گزارشگران هرانا، محسن بیک وند که بارها توسط ماموران زندان مورد شکنجه های سخت قرار گرفته بود، در بند 6، سالن 16 زندان رجایی شهر کرج به قتل رسیده است.

محسن بیک وند، اواسط خردادماه سال جاری به سلول انفرادی بند یک زندان رجایی شهر کرج منتقل شده بود.

گفتنی است زندانیان محبوس در زندان رجایی شهر معتقدند که دستور قتل این زندانی توسط مسئولین زندان صادر شده است و قتل زندانیان معترض توسط زندانیان دیگر به صورت سازمان یافته و از سوی مسئولین زندان هدایت می شود.

خبرگزاری هرانا، ارگان خبری مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر در ایران، در خردادماه سال جاری اقدام به پخش فیلمی از شکجه ی این زندانی از درون زندان نموده بود که بر اساس این سند، مسئولان به دلیل شکنجه های سخت هردو پای این زندانی را شکسته، دستانش را به طور موقت از کار انداخته و بدنش را سوزانده بودند.

تصاویر مستند زیر اسنادی است که در خرداد ماه سالجاری از سوی خبرگزاری هرانا منتشر شد که در آن محسن بیک وند و سایر زندانیان از وجود ضرب و شتم و شکنجه و بدرفتاری زندانبانان در زندان  شکایت می کنند.
