Student Activist Koroush Jannati Arrested

RAHANA – Allameh University literature student Koroush Jannati was arrested on June 12th by Intelligence agents after reporting to the university’s security office. According to the Committee of Human Rights Reporters, the agents then went to Jannati’s parents’ house, where they seized his personal items after performing a house search. There is still no word on the official cause of Jannati’s arrest or his current whereabouts. Jannati has been suspended from university on three separate occasions in the past.

کوروش جنتی بازداشت شد
کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر – کوروش جنتی، دانشجوی ادبیات دانشگاه علامه طباطبایی، صبح روز گذشته، شنبه ۲۲ خرداد، پس از احضار به حراست دانشگاه، بازداشت شد.
نیروهای امنیتی، پس از بازداشت جنتی، به منزل پدری وی رفته و اقدام به تفتیش منزل و ضبط وسایل شخصی کردهاند.
تا این لحظه هیچ اطلاعی از محل نگهداری و علت بازداشت این فعال دانشجویی در دست نیست.
پیش از این، کوروش جنتی، طی احکام جداگانه به سه ترم محرومیت از تحصیل محکوم شده بود.
