Baha’i Student Expelled from University

Committee of Human Rights Reporters – Pedram Ghanbari, an architect student at Semnan University, was expelled for being a Baha’i.
School officials had called his family and set conditions that stated he could only attend university if he denounced his faith. Pedram was later expelled.
Several other Baha’i university students have been expelled this year including Armin Jalalian and Mehrdad Darab.
