Students Chant Slogans against Supreme Leader in Nightly Protests
On Friday night of September 4th, Students living in the Tehran University dormitory, along with other Tehran residents, shouted anti-regime slogans from the rooftops.
With their numbers increasing as the dormitory is reopened, students, this time in big numbers and more determined than the past, participated in people’s nightly protests. Not forgetting the raids by Ansar militia on the dormitory, students targeted regime’s top leadership in their slogans and chanted slogans against Khamenei and Ahmadinejad. The students chanted slogans such as, “Our Leader is Killer, his Rule is Invalid”, “Government of Coup, Resign, Resign”, “Death to Dictator”, and “Allahu Akbar”.
The students are focusing more on Khamenei in their slogans, and regard him as the primary element responsible in the election fraud and post-election incidents. Therefore, the sharp edge of the anti-regime slogans is pointed to the Supreme Leader. The nightly protests, similar to the past, continued for half an hour from 22:00 to 22:30.
