Kouhyar Goodarzi Interrogated & Threatened Days Before End of Sentence

The Population of Combat against Educational Discrimination (PCED)- Kouhyar Goodarzi, human rights activist and ousted student of Sharif University of Technology who was transferred from Evin to Gohardasht “Rajai Shahr” prison a while ago, has been interrogated and threatened by the interrogator dealing with the case file pertaining to the Committee of Human Rights Reporters (CHRR). Parvin Mokhtareh, Kouhyar Goodarzi’s mother, in a conversation she had with a PCED reporter, expressed concern about her son’s condition and his interrogation that occurred just days before the end of his sentence.
Kouhyar Goodarzi had stated earlier that after being transferred to Rajai Shahr prison, he spent five days in the prison quarantine ward instead of the usual two days. Reports indicate that Kouhyar Goodarzi is held in the same ward as jailed journalist Isa Saharkhiz.
It is important to note that Kouhyar Goodarzi is the winner of the 2010 John Aubuchon Press Freedom Award presented by the National Press Club. He was arrested on December 20, 2009 and was sentenced to one year in jail by the lower court. The sentence was upheld by the Appeals Court.
تهدید و بازجویی کوهیار گودرزی در زندان رجایی شهر
جمعیت مبارزه با تبعیض تحصیلی – کوهیار گودرزی فعال حقوق بشر و دانشجوی اخراجی دانشگاه صنعتی شریف که چندی پیش از زندان اوین به زندان رجایی شهر کرج منتقل گردیده بود، در روزهای اندک باقی مانده به پایان دوران محکومیتش، توسط بازجوی پرونده ی کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر مورد بازجویی و تهدید قرار گرفته است.
پروین مخترع مادر کوهیار گودرزی در صحبتی با خبرنگار جمعیت مبارزه با تبعیض تحصیلی، ضمن ابراز نگرانی از وضعیت فرزند خود، بازجویی های کوهیار در زندان رجایی شهر در چند روز مانده به اتمام دوران محکومیتش را نگران کننده ابراز کرده است.
این فعال دانشجویی بعد از انتقال به زندان رجایی شهر، اعلام داشته است که بعد از انتقالش از زندان اوین به جای 2 روز، 5 روز را در قرنطینه زندان رجایی شهر سپری کرده است.
براساس این گزارش کوهیار گودرزی در حال حاضر با عیسی سحرخیز، روزنامه نگار زندانی هم بند می باشد
لازم به ذکر است، کوهیار گودرزی، «برنده ی جایزه ملی مطبوعات آمریکا» در تاریخ 29 آذر ماه سال گذشته (1388) بازداشت و در دادگاه بدوی با حکم یک سال حبس تعزیری روبرو گردید. این حکم در دادگاه تجدید نظر تایید شد.
