Kurdish Perspective - On the afternoon of January 5th, regime disciplinary agents shot a 12 year old boy in Sanandaj (capital of the Kurdistan province) on Gaaz Square which resulted in the angry reactions of passersby.

According to reports by eyewitnesses, the incident began when regime agents intended to arrest a citizen but were met with resistence and refusal by the gathered crowd. The [targeted] man was beaten with a baton and pepper spray was used on him to make him unconscious. With the help of passersby the man was able to avoid capture by the agents and leave the scene in a car. The agents fired shots at the car which resulted in the injury of a 12 year old boy who was standing among the crowd.

People reacted angrily to the shooting by getting involved in a physical conflict with two of the agents who had fired their guns.

The boy was transferred to a hospital but there is no information available on his current condition.

تیراندازی به تجمع مردم در سنندج و اصابت گلوله به یک نوجوان

کردیش پرسپکتیو: اصابت گلوله ماموران نیروهای انتظامی به یک نوجوان ۱۲ ساله در میدان گاز سنندج باعث واکنش مردم شد.

براساس گزارش مذکور که توسط شاهدان عینی نقل شده است، ظهر امروز ۱۵ دیماه(۵ ژانویه ۲۰۱۱) هنگامی که ماموران نیروی انتظامی در میدان گاز سنندج قصد دستگیری یکی از شهروندان را داشتند با مقاومت و امتناع وی روبرو شدند. مامورین این فرد را با باتوم مضروب و سپس با استفاده از اسپری فلفل قصد از پای انداختن او را داشتند، که با دخالت چند نفر از رهگذران فرد نامبرده از دست این ماموران خلاص یافته و با یک اتومبیل از محل حادثه دور می شود. بر اثر تیراندازی ماموران به سمت اتومبیل و مردمی که تجمع کرده‌ بودند، پسر نوجوان ۱۲ ساله‌ای مورد اصابت گلوله قرار می گیرد، که واکنش مردم به خشم آمده را موجب شده و در نتیجه با دو ماموری که تیراندازی کرده بودند به زد و خورد پرداختند.

از وضعیت نوجوان مصدوم که به بیمارستان انتقال یافته است اطلاعی در دست نیست.
