The Committee of Human Rights Reporters (CHRR) – Even though more than 20 days have passed since the arrest of human rights activist Kouhyar Goudarzi, there is still no information on his whereabouts. Kouhyar Goudarzi is also a member of the Committee of Human Rights Reporters (CHRR).

He was arrested on July 31st in Tehran and has not made any contact with his family since then. Additionally, his mother Parvin Mokhtare was arrested on August 1st at her home in Kerman. She is being held behind bars.

There is no news about Kouhyar Goudrzi’s condition or whereabouts. Civil rights laws and regulations state that, immediately after being arrested, the accused must be allowed to contact his/her family and let them know where he/she is being held.

Some unofficial informed sources have said that Kouhyar is being held in solitary confinement at the Ministry of Intelligence detention centre. No official government entity has accepted responsibility for Kouhyar Goudarzi’s arrest.

On December 20, 2009, military officials arrested Kouhyar Goudarzi while he was on his way to Qom to attend Ayatollah Montazeri’s funeral. The Revolutionary Court sentenced him to one year in prison and he was released on December 2010.

The Committee of Human Rights Reporters (CHHR) expresses great concern over Kouhyar Goudarzi’s unknown status. The behaviour of [Iranian authorities] toward Kouhyar and his mother are against the law. CHHR asks that information be provided immediately on their conditions and Kouhyar’s whereabouts.

بی خبری‏ از وضعیت کوهیار گودرزی، با وجود گذشت بیش از بیست روز از بازداشت وی

کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر- با وجود گذشت بیش از بیست روز از بازداشت کوهیار گودرزی، هنوز هیچ‌گونه اطلاع درستی از محل نگه‌داری وی در دست نیست.

کوهیار گودرزی، که در تاریخ 9 مردادماه در تهران بازداشت شده است، از زمان دستگیری، تاکنون تماسی را با خانواده خود برقرار نکرده است. این درحالی است که یک روز پس از بازداشت این فعال حقوق بشر، مادر وی نیز در منزلش در کرمان بازداشت شده و تاکنون در زندان به سر می‌برد.

عدم اطلاع از شرایط کوهیار گودرزی درحالی است که مطابق قانون و آیین‌نامه حقوق شهروندی، متهم بلافاصله پس از بازداشت می‌بایست اجازه داشته باشد تا خانواده‌اش را در جریان محل نگه‌داری خود قرار دهد.

برخی از منابع آگاه از نگه‌داری وی در سلول‌های انفرادی بازداشتگاه وزارت اطلاعات خبر می‌دهند. با این وجود تاکنون هیچ مرجع رسمی، مسئولیت بازداشت وی را قبول نکرده است.

کوهیار گودرزی، عضو کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر، پیش از این در تاریخ 29 آذرماه 88 در حالی که قصد شرکت در مراسم خاکسپاری آیت‌الله منتظری را داشت، توسط نیروهای وزارت اطلاعات بازداشت شد و سپس از سوی دادگاه به تحمل یکسال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد. وی در آذرماه 89، پس از سپری کردن حکم خود از زندان آزاد شده بود.

کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر، ضمن ابراز نگرانی در خصوص وضعیت نامعلوم کوهیار گودرزی، برخوردهای صورت گرفته با وی و مادرش را خلاف قانون دانسته و خواهان روشن شدن شدن هر چه سریعتر وضعیت آنان است
