Kahrizak Continues to Take Victims:
Physician Commits Suicide

Dr. Ramin Pourarzjani, who spent his military service as a physician in Kahrizak prison, committed suicide following the events that happened after the Kahrizak scandals were revealed.

While accusations of brutal beatings of prisoners by police force have not been questioned  and Judge Mortazavi is delaying reports of the parliament’s investigation committee by pressing the MPs, Ramin Pourarzjani, a 26 year old physician, was charged with medical negligence for the martyrs of Kahrizak and threatened with annulment of his medical license and a five-year jail sentence.

Norouz website reports that Pourarzjani was an outstanding student admitted to university with  a two digit rank in the national entrance exam. He is the first victim of the closed courts who was questioned and was accused of the incidents that took place in the detention center.

Following the disclosure of the atrocious crimes that happened in Kahrizak detention center (known as the Iranian Guantanamo Bay), a case was brought up in the judges’ military court against the former Tehran prosecutor general and deputy chief of police–who was directly responsible for the incidents of this detention center—and the judiciary officials vowed to process this case as soon as possible. But similar to most other law suits against judiciary and police officials in the past recent years, the accused were not questioned or tried. Instead other charges are presented for newly accused people which are believed to be made up to make the case go astray. For these cases, new victims are found, just like the doctor on duty at Kahrizak prison.

Before this, during the events at Tehran University’s residency, and the events that put the country into crisis for a week, only a police officer was impeached for the theft of a razor blade, and all other officials whose alleged involvement was mentioned in the report of the country’s security council, were acquitted.

The same goes in the cases of those accused of the serial killings. But Mohammad Khatami’s insistence on “detaching this infected tumor of this [intelligence] ministry” ultimately led to the detention of Saeed Emami; needless to say, that he, too, due to the so-called suicide with cleansing drug, was prevented to thoroughly reveal his accomplices.

Meanwhile, although the suicide of this doctor and serviceman is a suspicious point in the case of the accused in the events at Kahrizak, the suicide of a person who has witnessed firsthand the atrocities perpetrated on the detainees and is able to identify the culprits to the public at any moment seems suspicious.

A serious question remains:

While people like Behzad Nabavi are charged with acting against national security by disrupting traffic in Tehran by participating in demonstrations and are locked in solitary confinement and multiple indictments are read against them in the court, how is it possible that those who are directly responsible for the martyrdom of Iranian youth to have that much power that not only do they preclude the reading of the fact-finding committee’s report in the parliament, but discharge themselves of any allegations- and through influence- hinder the publication of the reports about this case?

The public will not forget that the political detainees of the recent events were mostly incarcerated one or two days after the election, and up until the election day, all their activities were legal, even according to the then incumbent administration. Then, over two days, a multipage indictment is read for these individuals, and state-run radio and television does not hold back from hailing any charges at them at all. Yet, those responsible for killing our youth are capable of digressing a case to such an extent that, at the end, the court claims that they do not have adequate evidence for convicting the accused and proving them guilty.

This is a process that has recurred time and again in our country’s judiciary system, and it seems that there exists no determination whatever [to change] this unjust, illegal and illegitimate conduct.

کهریزک همچنان قربانی می گیرد:

پزشک وظیفه زندان کهریزک خودکشی کرد

درحالیکه متهمان اصلی ضرب و شتم وحشیانه زندانیان این بازداشتگاه متعلق به نیروی انتظامی تاکنون مورد سئوال قرار نگرفته اند و حتی قاضی مرتضوی با اعمال فشار بر نمایندگان مجلس ازقرائت گزارش کمیته حقیقت یاب مجلس هشتم جلوگیری می کند، رامین پورارزجانی، پزشک 26 ساله، متهم می شود که در ماجرای شهادت زندانیان کهریزک مرتکب قصور پزشکی شده است و تهدید می گردد که پروانه پزشکی اش لغو و برای 5 سال راهی زندان خواهد شد.

به گزارش سایت نوروز، این پزشک وظیفه و دانشجوی ممتازی که با رتبه دو رقمی در کنکور سرتاسری قبول شده بود اولین قربانی برگزاری دادگاهی غیرعلنی است که در پی حوادث این بازداشتگاه مورد سئوال و اتهام قرار گرفته بود.

درحالیکه متهمان اصلی ضرب و شتم وحشیانه زندانیان این بازداشتگاه متعلق به نیروی انتظامی تاکنون مورد سئوال قرار نگرفته اند و حتی قاضی مرتضوی با اعمال فشار بر نمایندگان مجلس ازقرائت گزارش کمیته حقیقت یاب مجلس هشتم جلوگیری می کند، رامین پورارزجانی، پزشک 26 ساله، متهم می شود که در ماجرای شهادت زندانیان کهریزک مرتکب قصور پزشکی شده است و تهدید می گردد که پروانه پزشکی اش لغو و برای 5 سال راهی زندان خواهد شد.

به دنبال آشکار شدن جنایات وحشیانه ای که در بازداشتگاه کهریزک صورت گرفت و حتی به “گوانتاناموی ایرانی” معروف شد، پرونده ای در دادگاه نظامی قظات برای دادستان پیشین تهران و جانشین فرمانده نیروی انتظامی که به صورت مستقیم مسئول حوادث مرتبط با این بازداشتگاه بودند تشکیل می شود و مقامات قضایی هم قول می دهند در سریع ترین زمان ممکن به این پرونده رسیدگی کنند. اما مطابق اکثر پرونده های مربوط به مقامات قضایی و نیروی انتظامی در تمام سال های اخیر نه تنها افراد فوق مورد سئوال و محاکمه قرار نمی گیرند بلکه با امدادهای غیبی اتهامات و متهمان دیگری برای این واقعه تراشیده می شود و پرونده به بیراهه می رود و قربانیان جدیدی برای این پرونده ها دست و پا می شود که آخرین نمونه آن هم یک پزشک وظیفه مسئول در بازداشتگاه کهریزک است.

پیش از این در جریان حوادث کوی دانشگاه و اتفاقاتی که کشور را برای یک هفته در بحران فرو برد یک سرباز نیروی انتظامی تنها به اتهام سرقت ریش تراش مورد مواخده قرار گرفت و تمام افراد مسئول که در گزارش شورای امنیت کشور هم به دخالت آنها در این بحران اشاره شده بود تبرئه شدند.

مشابه این اتفاق قرار بود برای متهمان پرونده قتل های زنجیره ای انجام شود اما اصرار محمد خاتمی بر کندن غده چرکین این وزارتخانه در نهایت منجر به دستگیری سعید امامی شد؛ هرچند او هم در زندان قوه قضائیه با آنچه که خودکشی با داروی نظافت خوانده شد، فرصت این را پیدا نکرد که همدستان خود را به صورت کامل معرفی کند.

در این بین هرچند خودکشی این پزشک و سرباز وظیفه نکته ابهام پرونده متهمان بازداشتگاه کهریزک است، اما نفس خودکشی کسی که درون زندان جنایات وحشیانه علیه زندانیان را به چشم خود دیده است و می تواند هرلحظه نسبت به معرفی عاملان جنایت با دلیل و مدرک اقدام کند، ابهام آمیز به نظر می رسد.

این سئوال جدی هم مطرح است در حالیکه افرادی مثل بهزاد نبوی به دلیل اخلال در ترافیک تهران از طریق شرکت در راه پیمایی به اقدام علیه امنیت کشور متهم می شوند و بیش از 5 ماه در زندان انفرادی قرار می گیرند و حتی در دادگاه ادعانامه های چندین صفحه ای علیه آنان قرار می شود، چطور ممکن است کسانی که مسئول مستقیم شهادت چندین جوان ایرانی هستند به آن اندازه اقتدار داشته باشند که نه تنها از قرائت گزارش کمیته حقیقت یاب مجلس جلوگیری کنند، بلکه خود را نیز از هر اتهامی مبرا بدانند و با اعمال نفوذ از انتشار گزارش های مربوط به رسیدگی به این پرونده نیز جلوگیری نمایند.

افکار عمومی از یاد نخواهد برد بازداشت شدگان سیاسی حوادث اخیر اکثراً یک یا دو روز بعد از انتخابات دستگیر شدند و تا روز برگزاری انتخابات تمام فعالیت های آنان از نظر دولت مستقر هم قانونی بوده است. آنگاه برای این افراد ظرف دو روز اتهامات چندین صفحه ای قرائت می شود و صدا و سیمای دولتی از بیان هر اتهامی علیه آنان دریغ ندارد؛ اما افرادی که مسئول شهادت جوانان کشورمان هستند می توانند پرونده ای را تا آن اندازه به بیراهه ببرند که در نهایت دادگاه مدعی شود دلیل کافی برای متهم کردن و اثبات مجرم بودن این افراد ندارد. رویه ای که طی سالیان اخیر بارها و بارها در دستگاه قضائی کشورمان تکرار شده است و به نظر نمی رسد که اراده ای مبنی بر این راه و روش غیرعادلانه، غیرقانونی و غیرمشروع وجود داشته باشد.
