Ayatollah Bayat Zanjani: The principle of Velayat-e Faqih (supreme  leader) is not the principles of religion, and denying it is not infidelity.

Green Path Movement Network (Jaras): Ayatollah Bayat Zanjani responds to
one of his imitator’s questions, that the principle of supreme leader is not the
principles of religion, and denying it is not infidelity.

According to Jaras, the text of this question and answer is as follow:

Imitator asks, “Recently, the slogan: ” the principle of the supreme leader is part of our religion [Islam]’s principle” was heard and repeatedly broadcast on TV. Are the principles of religion among
secondary principles? Can something be added to it or deducted from it? Isn’t this slogan
a blasphemy? According to Islam what sentence should be considered for them? What is our
responsibility?”

Ayatollah Zanjani responds,  “The principle of the supreme leader is a political and juridical principle, and an arguable subject among Faqihs.  Although it seems to be the right principle, it’s not the principle of religion and denying it is not infidelity. Those who claim otherwise, are innovating and they should be rejected. If an erudite makes such claim, his justice is denied and praying behind him is not allowed.”

آیت الله بیات زنجانی : اصل ولایت فقیه نه از اصول دین است و نه انکارش کفرآور

شبکه جنبش راه سبز (جرس): آیت الله بیات زنجانی در پاسخ به سئوال یکی از مقلدان تصریح کرد: اصل ولایت فقیه نه اصل دین است و نه انکارش کفرآور است.

به گزارش جرس، متن این پرسش و پاسخ به نقل از وبسایت رسمی آیت الله بیات زنجانی بدین شرح است:

با سلام محضر مرجع عالی قدر چندی پیش از طرف برخی شعار:” اصل ولایت فقیه جزو اصول دین است “شنیده شده بود وبه کرار هم شبکه های تلوزیونی پخش شد. آیا اصول دین جزو احکام ثانویه است؟آیا میتوان چیزی از آن کم ویا زیاد کرد؟آیا این شعار یک ساختار شکنی نیست؟از نظر اسلام چه حکمی درباره اینان باید در نظر گرفت؟وظیفه ما چیست؟

جواب: با سلام و تحیت ؛ اصل ولایت فقیه امری سیاسی و فقهی و مورد اختلاف بین فقیهان است و اگرچه به نظر صحیح می آید لیکن نه خودش اصل دین و نه انکارش کفرآور و فسق است. کسانی که غیر از این را می گویند نیز اهل بدعت بوده و از باب نهی از منکر باید آنان را طرد کرد و اگر عالمی نیز اینگونه حرف بزند، موجب سلب عدالتش می شود و پشت سر او نمی شود نماز خواند.
