Majid Tavakoli’s Sentence Announced: 8 Years and 6 months in Prison

Today in branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court, Majid Tavakoli’s sentence was announced:
Eight years and six months he is to serve in prison.
Eight years and six months he is to serve in prison.
1. Five years for “participation in an illegal gathering”
2. One year for “propaganda against the regime”
3. Two years for “insults to the Supreme Leader”
4. Six months for “insults to the President”
5. Five-year ban from any involvement in political activities.
6. Five-year ban from leaving the country.

مجید توکلی 8 سال 6 ماه حکم گرفت
امروز شعبه 15 دادگاه انقلاب حکم مجید توکلی را اعلام کرد که در مجموع به 8 سال 6 ماه زندان محکوم شد
1. 5 سال اجتماع و تبانی
2. 1سال تبلیغ علیه نظام
3. 2 سال توهین به رهبری
4. 6 ماه توهین به رئیس جمهور
5. 5 سال ممنوعیت فعالیت سیاسی
6. 5 سال ممنوع الخروج از کشور

May this boy become a symbol to protest, as Neda, despite so many others also in Prison. His case can mobilize people and the whole world. This must be publized a maximum, everybody must mobilize. I suggest preparing posters and many many interviews so he can be an example of what is wrong with this regime and what people can target when criticizing it. Please all mobilize for him, symbol of all the wrongs..
Hopefully he and all the other heroes of the revolution won’t be prisoners for too long.
