Iranian opposition websites hacked by “Iranian Cyber Army”

Four Iranian opposition websites have been hacked by self-proclaimed “Iranian Cyber Army”.

The following websites have been hacked:

Hacker’s Message:

“In respect to the referendum which took place on 22 Bahman (February 11, 1979), and people who voted, and in respect to the great nation called Iran.”

“Don’t be ‘tools’ for those individuals who safely live in America and use you as their ‘tools’.”

“Children of Iran”

Upon visiting the hacked websites, you will notice the hackers have indicated at the bottom of the page that they are “available on”. Visit this site at your own discretion. Keep in mind that upon visit, the hackers will be able to track your IP address!

For precautionary measures, online activists are advised to constantly change their passwords to decrease their chances of being hacked.  In order to ensure that your password strength is strong, it is important to make it long. Make sure it includes letters, numbers, and characters.
