Two political prisoners and a guard die after a vehicle collision in Qom.

Yesterday, March 11th, a vehicle transferring a group of political prisoners collided with a truck, which resulted in the death of two political prisoners, Mehrdad Karimpour and Davood Eivazi, along with a guard.

The vehicle was transferring a group of political prisoners arrested after June 2009 election from the prison to the Revolutionary Court.

Another solider is reportedly in coma in one of Qom’s hospitals.

According to the Pazhvak Khamoosh weblog, Karimpour was arrested on the charge of acting against national security by participating in the memorial service commemorating Ayatollah Montazeri’s 7th day after his death (in accordance with Shiite tradition). Karimpour was also accused for puting up posters of Ayatollah Montazeri in the hospital where he was working.

There is no report as to the reason behind Davood Eivazi’s arrest.

مرگ دو اسیر سیاسی در قم

روز گذشته اتومبیل حامل زندانیان بعد از انتخابات در هنگام انتقال از زندان به دادگاه انقلاب با یک کامیون برخورد کرده که موجب کشته شدن مهرداد کریمپور و یک زندانی سیاسی دیگر بنام داود ایوزی و یک مامور شده. همچنین یک سرباز در کما رفته و در یکی از بیمارستانهای قم بستری شده است.

به گزارش وبلاگ پژواک خاموش،کریمپور به اتهام اقدام علیه امنیت ملی بواسطه شرکت در هفتمین روز رحلت آیت الله منتظری و نصب تصاویر مرجع عالیقدر در بیمارستانی که کار میکرد دستگیر شده بود.از علل بازداشت ایوزی هنوز اطلاعی در دست نیست.
