May 1st is the day of international solidarity of the working class and a day for laborers to protest global poverty and inequality. On this day millions of workers around the world stop working, to conquer the streets and show their anger and disgust with the announcement of the numerous disasters that capitalism has inflicted on humanity, and scream for liberation from oppression and exploitation.

Resounding protest against the hardship of capitalism and inequality of workers will be heard all around the world on May 1st while prohibition of celebration of this day in Iran is in effect, and many organizing workers of the May 1388/2009 event have been convicted and imprisoned and subjected to heavy sentences. Labor leaders and activists and are languishing in prison for defending their basic human rights.

Imposing such appalling lack of social rights for workers in conditions that in three decades of a capitalist system in Iran after the 1357 (1979) revolution, has reduced the minimum wage to a quarter below the poverty line and lack of timely payment of these wages and the firing of masses of workers, temporary contracts, have imposed hellish conditions on millions of workers families. Today more than ever to ensure the profitability of capital, factories are closed and subsidies cut in determination to cut the last threads of survival for millions of worker families and pour them into the pockets of investors.

But as we workers showed in the 1979 revolution as well as in recent years, we will not tolerate this misery and despite prison and repression will stand ahead with the people against violation of our most basic human rights and will not allow them to ruin our existence more. We are the main producers of all wealth and products in society and are entitled to human life in accordance with the highest standards of human life today.

In this context we also protest against circumstances since last Labor Day , since the masses in Iran have been exposed to suppression of their rights. We make the following demands and with immediate effect:

1 – We are free to act – independent of the government and our employers -to strike, protest, march, assemble and speak freely. This is our right and must be unconditional in recognition of the social rights of workers and the people of Iran.

2 – We see the plan to cut subsidies (by targeted subsidies) and the minimum wage of 303-thousand Tomans as a gradual imposition of death of millions of working class families and demand immediate suspension of plans to cut subsidies and increase the minimum wage to one million Tomans.

3 – Workers wages in arrears are to be paid immediately and with no excuses. Non-payment should be prosecuted as a crime and damages caused to the workers must be paid for.

4 – The Dismissal of Workers by any excuse must be stopped and those who are unemployed or have attained the age of employment and are prepared to work must be given suitable unemployment insurance until employed.

5 – We want to eliminate temporary contracts and the signing of blank contracts and demand employment security for all workers and wage recipients in accordance with the highest standards of health and safety. We ask for the elimination of state governed environments from all facilities.

6 – We demand the eradication of the death penalty and the immediate and unconditional release of Ebrahim Madadi, Mansour Osanloo, Ali Nejati and all labor activists and other social movements and protesters from prison and a stop to the persecution against them.

7 – We condemn any aggression towards protest against violation of our rights and view this type of freedom expression as an irredeemable right of the public.

8 – We want to eradicate all laws that are discriminatory to women and to ensure full equality and the unconditional rights of women and men in all areas of social, economic, political, cultural and family life.

9 – We want all pensioners to enjoy a prosperous life without economic concern and to eliminate any discrimination in the payment of retirement pensions and benefits from their social security and health care.

10 – Child labor must be eradicated and all children must be entitled to educational facilities, health and welfare, independent of gender and race, religion, or social and economic status of their parents.

11 – We hereby announce our support for all liberal social movements, and strongly condemn arrest, trial and imprisonment of activists of any movement.

12 – We also announced strong support for the demands of teachers, nurses and other working classes of society and united with them, want to achieve their immediate demands

13 – We are part of the world’s workers and strongly condemn the dismissal and imposition of any discrimination of Afghan migrant workers and other nationalities.

14 – We appreciate all the support from international workers in and strongly support the protests and demands of workers worldwide and are united with them more than ever with emphasis on international solidarity of workers to escape the capitalist system.

15 – May 1st must be declared an official holiday in the country and included in the official calendar and any restrictions regarding recognition of the anniversary of this day will be abolished.

فراخون ده تشکل کارگرى ايران: قطعنامه مشترک روز جهانى کارگر

اول ماه مه روز همبستگي بين المللي طبقه کارگر و روز اعتراض جهاني کارگران به فقر و فلاکت و نابرابري است. در اين روز ميليونها کارگر در سراسر جهان دست از کار مي کشند، خيابانها را به تسخير خود در مي آورند و با اعلام خشم و انزجار از مصائب بي شماري که نظام سرمايه داري بر بشريت تحميل کرده است، رهائي از ستم و استثمار و بر پائي دنيائي بهتر را فرياد ميزنند.

طنين اعتراض به مشقات نظام سرمايه داري و برابري خواهي کارگران در اقصي نقاط جهان در حالي در روز اول ماه مه پهنه گيتي را در برميگيرد که علاوه بر ممنوعيت برگزاري مراسم اين روز در ايران، هم اکنون بسياري از کارگران برگزار کننده مراسم اول ماه مه سال 88 يا به زندان محکوم شده اند و يا در معرض صدور احکام سنگين قضائي قرار دارند و دهها تن از فعالين و رهبران کارگري به جرم برپائي تشکلهاي کارگري و دفاع از حقوق انساني شان در زندانها بسر ميبرند.

تحميل چنين ابعاد وحشتناکي از بي حقوقي اجتماعي بر کارگران ايران در شرايطي است که سيستم سرمايه داري ايران پس از گذشت سه دهه از انقلاب بهمن 57، دستمزد کارگران را به يک چهارم مبلغ زير خط فقر تقليل داده و با عدم پرداخت بموقع اين دستمزدها و اخراج و بيکار سازي توده هاي عظيمي از کارگران و رواج قراردادهاي موقت و سفيد امضا شرايط به غايت جهنمي را بر ميليونها خانواده کارگري تحميل کرده است و امروزه براي تضمين بيش از پيش سود آوري سرمايه با به تعطيلي کشاندن کارخانه ها و طرح قطع يارانه ها در صدد است تا آخرين لقمه ها براي زنده ماندن ميليونها خانواده کارگري را از سفره آنان به جيب صاحبان سرمايه سرازير کند.

اما همانگونه که ما کارگران ايران در انقلاب بهمن 57 و سالهاي اخير نشان داديم تاب تحمل اينهمه فلاکت و بي حقوقي را نخواهيم آورد و عليرغم زندان و سرکوب، پيشاپيش عموم مردم ايران در مقابل لگد مال شدن بديهي ترين حقوق انساني خود ايستادگي خواهيم کرد و اجازه نخواهيم داد بيش از اين حق حيات و هستي ما را به تباهي بکشانند. ما توليد کنندگان اصلي تمامي ثروتها و تعمات موجود در جامعه هستيم و داشتن يک زندگي انساني مطابق با بالاترين استانداردهاي زندگي بشر امروز را حق مسلم خود و عموم توده هاي مردم ايران ميدانيم.

در اين راستا ما ضمن اعتراض به وضعيت موجود که از روز جهاني کارگر سال گذشته به اين سو کارگران و عموم توده هاي مردم ايران را بيش از پيش در معرض سرکوب و تحميل بي حقوقي قرار داده است بر تحقق مطالبات زير پاي مي فشاريم و خواهان تحقق فوري و بي قيد شرط همه آنها هستيم:

1- برپايي تشكل هاي مستقل از دولت و کارفرما، اعتصاب، اعتراض، راهپيمائي، تجمع و آزادي بيان حق مسلم ما است و اين خواسته ها بايد بدون قيد و شرط به عنوان حقوق خدشه ناپذير اجتماعي كارگران و عموم مردم ايران به رسميت شناخته شوند

2- ما طرح قطع يارانه ها (هدفمند کردن يارانه ها ) و حداقل دستمزد 303 هزار توماني را تحميل مرگ تدريجي بر ميليونها خانواده کارگري ميدانيم و خواهان توقف فوري طرح قطع يارانه ها و افزايش حداقل دستمزدها به يک ميليون تومان هستيم

3- دستمزدهاي معوقه كارگران بايد فورا” و بي هيچ عذر و بهانه اي پرداخت شود و عدم پرداخت آن بايستي به مثابه يك جرم قابل تعقيب قضائي تلقي گردد و خسارت ناشي از آن به كارگران پرداخت شود

4- اخراج و بيكار سازي كارگران به هر بهانه اي بايد متوقف گردد و تمامي كساني كه بيكار شده و يا به سن اشتغال رسيده اند و آماده به كار هستند بايد تا زمان اشتغال به كار از بيمه بيكاري متناسب با يك زندگي انساني برخوردار شوند

5- ما خواهان محو قراردادهاي موقت و سفيد امضاء، تامين امنيت شغلي كارگران و تمامي مزد بگيران ، رعايت بالاترين استاندارد هاي بهداشت و ايمني کار و بر چيده شدن تمامي نهادهاي دست ساز دولتي از محيطهاي کار هستيم

6- ما خواهان لغو مجازات اعدام و آزادي فوري و بي قيد و شرط ابراهيم مددي ، منصور اسالو ، علي نجاتي و کليه فعالين کارگري و ديگر جنبش هاي اجتماعي و اعتراضي از زندان و توقف پيگرد هاي قضايي عليه آنان هستيم.

7- ما ضمن محكوم كردن هر گونه تعرض به اعتراضات کارگري و اعتراضات مردمي، اعتراض به هر گونه بي حقوقي و ابراز عقيده را حق مسلم و خدشه نا پذير کارگران و عموم مردم مي دانيم

8- ما خواهان لغو کليه قوانين تبعيض آميز نسبت به زنان و تضمين برابري کامل و بي قيد و شرط حقوق زنان و مردان در تمامي عرصه هاي زندگي اجتماعي، اقتصادي، سياسي، فرهنگي و خانوادگي هستيم

9- ما خواهان برخورداري تمامي بازنشستگان از يك زندگي مرفه و بدون دغدغه اقتصادي و رفع هرگونه تبعيض در پرداخت مستمري بازنشستگان و بهره مندي آنان از تامين اجتماعي و خدمات درماني هستيم

10- کار کودکان بايد محو گردد و تمامي کودکان بايد جداي از موقعيت اقتصادي و اجتماعي والدين، نوع جنسيت و وابستگي هاي ملي و ن‍‍ژادي و مذهبي از امكانات آموزشي، رفاهي و بهداشتي يكسان و رايگاني برخوردار شوند

11- ما بدينوسيله پشتيباني خود را از تمامي جنبش هاي اجتماعي آزادي خواهانه اعلام مي داريم و دستگيري، محاكمه و به زندان افكندن فعالين اين جنبش ها را قويا” محكوم مي كنيم

12- ما ضمن اعلام حمايت قاطعانه از مطالبات معلمان، پرستاران و ساير اقشار زحمتكش جامعه ، خود را متحد آنها مي دانيم و خواهان تحقق فوري مطالبات آنان هستيم

13- ما بخشي از كارگران جهان هستيم و اخراج و تحميل هر گونه تبعيض بر كارگران مهاجر افغاني و ساير مليت ها را به هر بهانه اي محكوم مي كنيم

14- ما ضمن قدرداني از تمامي حمايت هاي بين المللي از مبارزات كارگران در ايران و حمايت قاطعانه از اعتراضات و خواسته هاي كارگران در سراسر جهان خود را متحد آنان مي دانيم و بيش از هر زمان ديگري بر همبستگي بين المللي كارگران براي رهايي از مشقات نظام سرمايه داري تاكيد مي كنيم

15- اول ماه مه بايد تعطيل رسمي اعلام گردد و در تقويم رسمي كشور گنجانده شود و هر گونه ممنوعيت و محدوديت برگزاري مراسم اين روز ملغي گردد
